Councillor Robert Tindall, who represents Brown Clee division, has rejoined the controlling Conservative Group of Shropshire Council.
Councillor Tindall resigned in May 2017 because of his concern that only one of the authority's 10 portfolio holders was from the south of the county. In signalling his change of direction, Councillor Tindall said “I have seen some movement in the Conservatives’ approach following recent appointments from the south. This has encouraged me to apply to rejoin the group”.
Council Leader Peter Nutting said “We are pleased to welcome Robert back to the Group. We will benefit from his many talents, especially in planning matters”.
