South Shropshire MP Philip Dunne is organising a local Jobs Fair in Bridgnorth to help jobseekers and employers connect.
Mr Dunne said “Employment figures for South Shropshire have been really encouraging over the last year but we cannot afford to be complacent.
I am determined to see more local people in work, so I am organising a second Jobs Fair in Bridgnorth to help give those searching for a job the opportunity to meet local employers and training providers.
I urge local job seekers to come Bridgnorth Community Hall on 4th October between 10am and 1pm to see what vacancies are available locally or to find help getting into work or training.”
The event is being sponsored by Jobcentre Plus and already has several businesses signed up including Muller, Morris Care, Sainsbury’s, Grainger and Worrall and SNG Barratt. Alongside exhibitors there will also be a ‘Jobs Board’ with job advertisements from companies who are unable to attend on the day.
Local companies with positions to advertise should contact Mr Dunne’s office on 01584 872 187 or email [email protected]
