Philip Dunne MP visited Four Rivers Nursing Home in Ludlow today to join celebrations of its 10th anniversary.
To mark the occasion, Mr Dunne congratulated Care Assistant Michelle Bufton, the winner of the staff ‘bake off’ competition for the anniversary cake. Four Rivers has 40 residents well looked after by its 71 hardworking staff, and achieved a good rating for the quality of its care at its most recent inspection.
Mr Dunne said: “I was delighted to congratulate manager Christine Thomas and staff at Four Rivers Nursing Home, on the 10th anniversary of its opening.
In its 10 years Four Rivers Nursing Home has become an important asset to Ludlow, giving quality care to its residents. I wish them continued success for the future.”
While there Mr Dunne met Florence Arrowsmith, one of the oldest and longest serving residents, who celebrates her 101st birthday next month.
