Philip Dunne, Conservative prospective parliamentary candidate, launched his campaign to be re-elected as Member of Parliament for the Ludlow Constituency this week.
Mr Dunne said “I am delighted to be standing again as Conservative candidate for the Ludlow Constituency.
“South Shropshire is truly one the most beautiful parts of our country, and it has been a real honour to represent the Ludlow Constituency in parliament for the past ten years.
“Conservatives in Government over the past five years have achieved a lot for the Ludlow Constituency. Whether its halving unemployment, freezing fuel duty, cutting taxes or increasing school funding by almost £300 per pupil, our Conservative long term economic plan is delivering for South Shropshire.
“I fear a Labour Government would put at risk everything we have fought so hard to improve. Local people know the choice facing them is competence with the Conservatives, or chaos with Labour – David Cameron as Prime Minister or Ed Miliband propped up by the SNP.
“I hope to do my part in returning a Conservative majority government that can help secure a better future for Britain and the Ludlow Constituency.”
